Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of CPN (“the App”) at cost-per-nut.com. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense access
• Use the App in a way that violates any law or these Terms
• Attempt unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts
• Use the App to transmit malware, harass others, or engage in any harmful activity

3. Subscriptions and payments

The App requires an active subscription to access core features beyond the trial. Plans:

• Monthly — $4.99 USD per month
• Annual — $27 USD per year

Every account begins with a 3-day free trial. Payment is collected when the trial ends, unless you cancel first. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel at any time via Settings → Subscription or by emailing us — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless you also delete your account, in which case it's immediate.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Refund decisions are at our discretion; reasonable refund requests within 7 days of a charge will be considered.

4. Your content

The App lets you create and store private content — profiles, entries, notes, settings (“Your Content”). You retain all rights to Your Content. You grant us a limited license to store and display Your Content solely to provide the App's features to you.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, or anything you do not have rights to.

5. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly at steven@astrum.software if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

6. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The App is for personal tracking only. It is not financial, legal, medical, or relationship advice. We do not guarantee accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or that defects will be corrected.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. To remove everything, use Settings → Delete Account.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in those courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
