If you want to compute time CPN as well: total hours spent on dating in the period, divided by outcomes. Gives you a parallel metric — hours per outcome — that often tells a different story than dollars per outcome.

If you're tracking against a different outcome (kiss, second date, etc.), the math is identical — just keep the outcome definition constant within a measurement period.

The math is exact. The accuracy depends entirely on the honesty of your inputs. Most guys, on first computation, are within 10-15% of the truth on outcomes (easy to count) and 25-40% off on spend (easy to under-remember). Run the calc honestly and the number is real.

A simple way to spot-check: pull up your bank statement for the period and add up the dating-related transactions. If your input number is 70% or less of the bank-statement number, you're under-counting. Adjust and re-run.
